Believing in IVF Success Stories

from:

IVF success stories will tell us how much pain an infertile couple has to suffer because of their condition. Infertility is a heart wrenching issue that may cost them emotional pains, especially those who have attempted all ways just to conceive a child. However, infertility is normally not something a couple has to brood on not until they have attempted to produce a child.

Infertility is normally diagnosed if an old couple, after unprotected sexual intercourse within a span of a year, still isn't able to produce a single pregnancy. If the couple is younger however, diagnosis is much more efficient since their age is ideal for successful childbirth.

Interestingly enough, causes of infertility are shared equally by three components. Male issues, female problems and a combination of both which include problems that can't simply be explained by medical science. The good part though is that the majority of infertility cases can be resolved by a number of medication therapy or operations.

Male infertility lies solely in the sperm problems. It would either be the absence of sperm cell production or azoospermia or insufficient sperm count or oligospermia. However, there are cases of sperm cell deformation and immediate death of sperm cells even before they reach ovulation period. Yet, rare cases of genetic problems can attribute with male infertility causes.

In female however, infertility may be due mostly to problems in ovulation. Blocked fallopian tubes can also cause the problem as well as structural abnormalities of the uterus, which in most cases lead to miscarriages.

To treat these problems, science has devised a number of ways to help infertile couples conceive a child. One of the most popular in the field is in vitro fertilization treatment. A method that is normally employed when a man has low sperm count or if a woman has blocked fallopian tubes.

With this procedure, the female eggs cells will have to be removed from their source to be combined with the male sperm cells on a Perdi dish. The mixture will retain their position in the laboratory dish for about 40 hours or more for monitoring if they have fertilized. Once they are matured enough, they will be implanted into the female uterus to be left there to naturally complete the process.

You may hear in vitro fertilization often, but the actual use of the method can only be accounted to around 5% of all assisted reproduction treatments in America. This may be highly due to the expensive price of each treatment, which may range to an average of $12,000 with success rates that are rather tentative. Nonetheless, it still remains to be the ultimate option for most infertile couples.

We may not actually retrieve the exact national success rate of in vitro fertilization. However, with IVF success stories we may find some hints that will lead us to more probable estimates. Since IVF success stories had become the only personal and true to life narratives, we can trust on the truths they tell. Nonetheless, each one of us must have an eye on what is true and what is not. We cannot negate the fact that though the web has become our engine to optimized research, there exists a number of hoax claims in the system that sound luring.

We have to be vigilant. We need to sift information.

But it is still must be noted that the web can help us a lot. When searching for IVF success stories that you will use as your basis for decision, your own judgement remains to be your best judgement.
